The room was basic but as described, clean, tidy and comfy. Breakfast was good, freshly cooked and hot, and the breakfast choices were given at the start of the stay. The pub food was also fresh, hot and in big portions. Nothing to complain about—it was what I expected and more than adequate for our stay.

The location was good, nice and quiet. I had a very comfortable stay, the staff were very nice and friendly, and the breakfast was good. The kitchen was not available for an evening meal, but the staff were happy to arrange a takeaway for me to eat in the pub.
