The spot was convenient, the room was fairly spacious, and the overall design was decent. 1. The quality of the sheets and duvet cover was surprisingly poor; I hadn’t slept on such rough linens in a long time, which did affect my sleep quality. 2. I stayed many days here but they never cleaned the rooms, and I had to take out the trash myself in the common area. 3. The soundproofing was not good; at night I could hear people walking and moving chairs in the room above.

Clean, fully equipped, straightforward but lovely renovated rooms and the whole property. The rooms are huge, perfect for stowing a lot of larger suitcases and luggage. On the ground floor, behind the reception, there are two large washing machines, trash cans, a huge dining table, and a communal kitchen. Fantastic location, well connected. The street next to it hosts a huge temple complex, surrounded by quiet, narrow, intimate, picturesque lanes.

Great hotel for visiting Kyoto. The double room was quite spacious for Japan. The doors open with a code instead of keys, which is more convenient.

A very nice room with hardwood floors and a nice balcony. Very clean and spacious. Close to Kyoto station.
