The place is pretty limited in terms of amenities, which is fine if you don’t expect much. When I arrived, there was nobody on site for about two hours, and the only phone number listed was a Mexican cell that never answered. I called several times with no response, so the service was essentially non‑existent.

I turned up with a group of friends and the whole thing was a nightmare. After being handed keys and shown down a hallway that reeked of chlorine mixed with mold, the rooms were even worse – stained linens, mold growing on the bed near the wall, and a bathroom covered in mildew and rust. Some windows wouldn’t open, a few were broken, making the rooms practically uninhabitable, and the staff had already taken payment from my card before we even checked in.

“Estadía conforme, cumplió con todo lo esperado”

The hotel is just a stone’s throw from the Fitz Roy trailhead, which made getting out on the hikes super easy. Apart from that, everything was as expected.

The front‑desk staff were really helpful – they let us drop off our bags before the official check‑in time and even served breakfast early for those who needed to leave quickly. It made the morning run smoothly.

Location couldn’t be better for anyone who likes trail walking, right in the middle of the routes. Unfortunately the housekeeping fell short – the trash can hadn’t been emptied and the bedroom hadn’t been tidied. So you get a great spot but have to deal with some basic cleaning issues.
