“Comfortable!”

The owner was a fantastic guy, always friendly and super helpful—taxis, trips, tuk‑tuks, whatever you needed, you were taken care of. The spot is right next to Coconut Beach. Our room was comfy but a touch dark and plain for what we paid, yet we still had a great stay.

The food is superb, the site is lovely and within walking distance of a beach with a natural sea‑water pool. The hotel is tidy and the owners’ welcome is exceptional; they guided us throughout our visit, gave useful advice on sights, and helped negotiate fair prices to avoid tourist traps. Everything was perfect.

“Unvergesslich tolle Menschen ❤️”

We had an amazing 7 days here. Lala and Shirani, along with their family and the team, made the stay unforgettable; we felt at home. Their warm manner will stay with us and our kids. Lala took us several times to Weligama (10 min.) at a fair price for surfing, where we spent most of our time. In the evenings there was delicious curry with rice at the on‑site restaurant, cooked by Shirani. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The Coconut Beach around the corner invites sunset watching and seasoned surfers to ride the waves. A few restaurants are in the area, but we mostly stayed with Shirani 🙂. We had a wonderful time!
