The room was decent with a nice setting. The owner’s arrival was delayed (though we were notified beforehand). He was not very friendly and left immediately, apparently bothered by his own business. The hotel was completely empty. There was no heating except in our room, which had just been turned on. We were shown a kettle and the means to make coffee but no coffee itself! We felt like we had arrived at a closed establishment.

The little pool was great. The room had wind blowing through the ducts all night, which totally ruined my sleep.

The property was well maintained, clean, and beautiful. Breakfast was reasonable and catered to our Nordic tastes with ham, cheese, and eggs, plus the usual slightly sweet Italian breakfast. Since the property was a few kilometers from the coast, we were offered to borrow their two electric bikes for a cheap fee and discovered nice beaches on a cliff‑filled shoreline. We also found a couple of good restaurants in the small village. Rocco, our host, wasn’t very good at English, but Google Translate worked well; other guests who spoke English were very helpful. Rocco was tidy and found good solutions when we needed something; he drove us 60 kilometers on the day we left so we could catch the train in Lecce, for a reasonable fee, of course. Thank you for a good stay in what felt like an authentic environment.

“Meravigliosa”

The new camera was well equipped and comfortable, the pool was fantastic and included a jacuzzi – a truly beautiful experience. The owner was extremely kind and available for any situation. It’s close to many beautiful seaside spots. Highly recommended. Everything was fantastic.
