This lodge tops the list in Jan Kempdorp—immaculately tidy and clean. Host Rian went above and beyond to help us, taking care of every detail. Owner Mr. Paul Bester was very friendly and arranged a room that fit both me and my wife perfectly; he even called us on Sunday after we left to confirm our satisfaction, which shows real professionalism. The pool area and braai spot had a great, relaxing vibe; I grilled steak and wors beside the pool and savored the meal. Our room was clean and we enjoyed Full DSTV. Security is tight, keeping strangers out. Well done. A smoking/non‑smoking section at the bar and restaurant would be a nice addition.
