We booked one night, three rooms, for about 60 euros each. The host reached out a week ahead to confirm our arrival time and dinner plans, but kept repeating the same questions over and over. I could only reply the day before via Booking, and the host insisted on SMS, which I couldn’t use because my sim was calls‑and‑data only. I was confused why it was so hard to convey a clear answer about our arrival and dinner options, which we had already discussed on Booking and over the phone. On the way there we got caught in a terrible rain on scooters. After lunch I texted the host on Booking to ask if the rooms were heated, but got no response. We reached the property a couple of hours later. From the main gate to the house was about 100 m of deep mud, no stones, no pavement, nothing. When we finally entered the main building, a couple of nice ladies showed us the rooms. They were friendly but spoke no English, so explaining that the AC wasn’t heating was hard. I called the host again, but got no answer or a vague reply. After 15 minutes the ladies brought a heater to one of the three rooms. We were soaking wet, about to pay 60 euros per room, and would have had to share one heater among the three rooms. I found another place nearby and moved out. I feel sorry for the ladies—they probably didn’t understand much, even though I tried to explain in Google Translate that we couldn’t sleep in a cold room after hours on scooters in the rain. We left and found heated rooms 500 m away for 20 euros per night per room.
