We found our stay at New Zamrood extremely comfortable. The room, decorated traditionally, was beautiful. Bilal, the owner, was helpful all the time. Breakfast was great. We’d love to return whenever we’re back in Srinagar. Everything was great!

My wife and I had a wonderful time staying here. The home and its surroundings are very peaceful and soothing. Bilal ji’s kindness and hospitality made our visit unforgettable. It’s the best place to stay near Dal Lake. Nothing in particular to note.

The Host, Mr.Bilal and family were the highlight for the stay. Cleanliness was top notch. Had a good time. Unfortunately power cut was the issue and the inverter backup was not for fan but the lights were power backed. Weather was there for the rescue

We stayed at New Zamrood from 19th to 25th June 2026 and enjoyed it thoroughly. Mr. Bilal reached out a day before arrival to arrange airport pickups, setting a welcoming tone. He stayed courteous, attentive, and supportive whenever needed. The property sits in a calm, peaceful spot on Exchange Road, which we appreciated. We booked half‑board; breakfast and meals were simple but tasty and well‑served. The family room was a highlight—spacious, well‑furnished with two beds, large wardrobes, sofa, side tables, a TV, AC, and a well‑lit bathroom stocked with everyday toiletries. The property also provides reliable transportation for sightseeing and day trips upon request, which was very convenient. Thoughtful complimentary items—high tea, cookies, water bottles, warm towels—added a warm, welcoming touch. They also helped with basic medicines when one of us wasn’t feeling well. Overall, New Zamrood offers excellent value for money and a homely, comfortable experience. We’ll definitely visit again! The half‑board meal options could be improved.
