“It was a good stay, but i dont like is the aircon, even if i low the temperature it still hot. And also the staff is not”

It’s large, spacious, and clean. The staff are not approachable, and the air‑con doesn’t cool well even when I lower the temperature.

I noticed the place was clean, and the kitchen had plenty of dishes that were easy to use; I even brought my own rice cooker, and it could cook 3 cups. The air conditioning on the second floor worked well. However, the toilet paper refills were scarce, so you should check that first depending on how many people are staying. The kitchen curtains were missing, which made me feel uneasy about who might be watching, especially at night when we stayed longer. The futon was really thin and the pillow was soft, and there was no exhaust fan in the toilet or bathroom. Also, the kitchen had no door, so there was no heating or cooling, making it tough during hot summer days.

“Great countryside stay near Shizuoka in a modern rennovation of a smaller traditional home.”

Checking in was easy with the owner who lives above the guest area. The rooms had a traditional feel while the kitchen and facilities were modern, striking a nice balance, and the renovation kept some old building elements, which was a nice touch. The location was a bit of a walk from nearby conveniences, which we later liked. The owner staying above the guest area also made us a bit worried about keeping our noise down.

“良くない”

Being close to the destination was helpful. The biggest issue was that no curtains were installed in any room, which made the temperature insulation poor and the morning glare intense. The next major problem was the unusually thin mattress and duvet. I think the owner should try using the place as a guest once to see how it feels.
