“Semplicemente ....favoloso”
The hotel exceeded my expectations in every area, especially the breakfast, which was excellent and plentiful. The staff were very kind and attentive, and the location, though a bit off‑center, was ideal—quiet, set in a dominant hilly setting surrounded by greenery, very relaxing. From there the city center is reachable in a few minutes by taxi, avoiding the hassle of finding parking. Overall, I highly recommend it to anyone spending a few days in Zagreb.
“O NOAPTE IN ZAGREB”
The hotel is located in a wooded area, giving it a unique character. It’s decorated and furnished in a vintage, beautiful, elegant style. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners, who were friendly and gave us small details. The breakfast was good and varied. A plus for the receptionist who managed to get us out of a confusing situation caused by colleagues. However, at a late‑night check‑in, we received a first room that seemed to have been rented out earlier and was not cleaned: a bottle of wine was on the table, two damp towels were on the sofa, and the floor was dusty. We went to the reception and got a second room, which also seemed used before we arrived: chairs were placed at the edge of the bed as if someone had protected a child from falling, and the curtains were visibly used. The third attempt was lucky; we received what I think was the PRESIDENTIAL APARTMENT, or something similar based on its furnishings, but it also seemed that no one had stayed there recently, and the cleaning had been done a long time ago. There was dust and spider webs.
The location is close to the centre and the reception staff were very friendly, but the breakfast left something to be desired.
“A good hotel in a quiet, peaceful, park area, not far from the old town, worth your attention.”
The hotel was very comfortable, located in a quiet, pleasant park area with wonderful staff. The Old Town is about a 25‑30‑minute walk through the park, half uphill and half downhill, or you can take the city bus that stops near the hotel. The Old Town is very interesting and can easily fill an entire day. The hotel’s décor is old‑style but very pleasant. Rooms are spacious and fully equipped; the bathroom has two sinks, a bathtub, a bidet, and a toilet. Breakfast is included and is a varied buffet; lunch and dinner are also available in the hotel restaurant for an extra fee. The staff deserve special attention for being very attentive, responsive, and always ready to help. The hotel also offers ample free parking.
“Tranquil i allunyat centre”
A roomy room with antique furniture, air conditioning, and a minibar. Breakfast was decent, and there was no noise—very quiet. The bathtub was too high, making it awkward to get in and out. I expected a more complete breakfast buffet and the place is far from the city centre, plus it's a bit pricey.
