Online reviews from the previous owners mention the place, but the current owners are so nice and you’re well taken care of.

Nestled in the peaceful village of Evergem, this charming manor is a breath of fresh air compared to a city hotel. I stayed in the Suite – spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated with a comfy bed. The owners run the place themselves and are super friendly. A family of geese greeted us at the gate, which instantly lifted my mood. Parking is free on the property, and the surrounding greenery is lovely.

The location is fantastic, and the people are incredibly warm. I forgot my bike lock, and the owner kindly lent me his chain – a small gesture that made a big difference. The suite itself is comfortable, and the place is just a short bike ride to Ghent. I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a welcoming stay near the city.

The room was very pleasant, offering a nice view of the pond, and the house and its surroundings were top-notch. However, it got scorching hot inside – the temperature hit 35°C outside, and there was no air conditioning, which made the stay a bit uncomfortable.
