How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The staff were friendly and quick to help. The location was great. I stayed in the women’s dorm for 5 days and was hit by a swarm of ants while I was about to sleep – my bed was infested. It was too late to ask the front desk for assistance, but luckily there was another bed available so I could move. They dealt with the issue the next day, but it still wasn’t my favorite experience. The dorm has no doors, only curtains, and you can hear a lot from the neighboring dorm.

The place is well situated and the breakfast is decent. The rooms were dirty, the staff didn’t speak English and the value for money was terrible – the most expensive we’ve booked in Indonesia and the worst by far, even though we had a private room instead of a dorm.

It’s very close to the jetty and a short walk to the main food strip, about 20 minutes to Alun Alun. The room was lovely with an amazing view. The AC needs to be replaced – it cooled the room only a little, not much cooler than outside. Rooms at the back of the hostel have many steps; it’s fine for a few days but be careful if you’re going up and down a lot.

There are plenty of spots to relax. Breakfast is good in the morning. Free hot and cold water refills. Beds are comfortable and there’s a large shelf for your bag in the room; the AC worked well and stayed on all day. It’s a 25‑minute walk to Bobby Beach and the town centre for dinner, and 10 minutes to the ferry terminal. The communal showers could use a refresh and a deep clean.
