“It was overpriced for the small town and breakfast, but it was pretty clean and felt moderately safe”
The woman at the desk was very helpful at check‑in. The pool was salt water and heated, but small, and the kids said it had leaves floating in it. It was a good surprise since I didn’t see a pool advertised. The room was pretty clean except for a few hairs. The internet was sufficient for me to use on my laptop. The woman who worked the desk and breakfast in the morning did a great job of cleaning and keeping the area stocked, and she was so friendly too. The indoor pool had some leaves or debris floating in it. The bathtub was dirty so that I wouldn’t use it, but the shower was fine. There were a few hairs on the extra toiletries left, but not touching the actual product, just the wrappers. In the morning, one employee came to the front desk and proceeded to argue with another employee, or else they were angrily in agreement. They spoke about quitting and walking out. I was trying to work on something in the upstairs lobby, and it was a bit inconsiderate. The breakfast was pretty pathetic when you pay this much for a hotel. It seemed like the breakfast expected at an $80/night hotel. There was only one hot item, waffles, and the syrup was in packages and pretty bad. There was white bread to toast, packaged muffins, fruit, cereal, and yogurt.
