“A getaway that was convenient but with a country feel.”

The hosts were first‑class and welcoming. The unit, separate from the main house, offered a great view of rolling lawns and trees, and we enjoyed sunset drinks at the picnic table on the patio. More directional signage would help once on the property; otherwise everything was great.

If you’re after a peaceful, relaxing stay not far from Cape Town, I can only recommend this place. At first night you might wonder where you’ve ended up, but the next morning you wake up to a beautiful green garden surrounded by different trees and lots of animals, and you can’t help but enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The place matches the photos, which is always a nice surprise. The residents of the houses welcomed us warmly, and we had a lovely long conversation with them, making us feel very welcome.
