How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
A lovely stay at a traditional Ryokan. The breakfast was delicious and the owners were very kind and hospitable. The property is only a short walk from Yudanaka station, and very close to the bus stop that can take you around the local area. The room had a boiling kettle, which was a nice addition and meant we could have tea whenever we wanted!

Authentic Japanese, old but genuine. Breakfast was very tasty and complete, room very pretty. Onsen was very hot. Some spider webs, but the owners are very, very old.

The comfort of the facility was exactly what I had hoped for, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The rooms offered excellent heating, a nice view, and the bathing facilities were exceptional; I couldn't have asked for more.

The hosts were very kind and helpful, and the dinner was delicious; the house itself is beautiful. Its proximity to Yudanaka station makes it convenient for the Snow Monkey Park bus, making it perfect for those wanting a real Japanese-style experience. However, the common rooms were very cold during our winter stay, so bring extra layers.
