The place was private and quiet, with a well‑equipped kitchen. The only improvement I’d suggest is adding shade cloth or something to block the sun outside the living area.

The large outdoor kitchen and living room were awesome, and the bed was comfortable with plenty of luggage space. The only downside was that it was a bit hard for the taxi to find.

The outdoor patio lets you cook and gives extra space. The town feels authentic and not overly touristy. The mattress was cheap and hard, the AC worked but didn’t cool the room, and the doors had no handles. Concrete was peeling off the wall. The location is awful—far from town and very hard to walk to town on rainy days when the roads flood, so a car or golf cart is needed. The gate was tricky because the key doesn’t work properly, making entry and exit difficult. Overall, this was a very overpriced one‑star place.

The room was beautiful—better than the photos—with plenty of light and gorgeous walls. The bed was super comfortable. Emily, the host, was lovely and went out of her way to make our stay pleasant, even buying sugar for the coffee we brewed in the morning. There’s a great little local breakfast spot just around the corner. All in all, highly recommend!
