The room was spacious, fully equipped with iron, kettle, coffee, and tea, and the location was good; however, cable television was poor and the second evening it didn’t work at all.

Malton is worth a visit, and staying at the Talbot was perfect.

The historical building of the Olde World is magnificent, not so much a posh place but full of character and a great location; the position, views, and character are notable.

Everything in the hotel and room is of such good quality, and the staff are all so helpful, making it a very special place; I loved my roll‑top claw‑foot bath and the huge comfortable bed, and I’m glad I paid extra for a higher‑grade room because it was worth it; I can’t think of anything negative.

The view was lovely and the room was great, nothing to complain about.
