“Not a Good Choice in This Price Range”
The HH Point looks like a newly built hotel. The room furniture is new, the interior design is elegant and tasteful, and most items are high quality. The staff do their best under the current circumstances and help whenever needed. The location isn’t very convenient; I chose it because it was advertised as close to the airport with a transfer, but it turned out to be farther than expected. The biggest problem is the lack of professionalism and proper organization. We arrived on a Sunday and saw only one or two staff on duty, so we had to wait for someone to come before checking in. The real issue was that no receptionist was available. A hotel with this rate and rating should always have a staffed reception. Later, after leaving our room, we couldn’t get back in because the electronic door lock got jammed. I’m not sure if it was due to entering the PIN wrong, pressing the buttons too slowly, or too many attempts. We had to wait outside until the person who checked us in returned and reset the lock. The staff kindly let us wait in a nearby room, which we appreciated, but the lock system clearly lacks a central reset. Situations like this can happen to anyone, and it may not always be possible for a staff member to arrive quickly, so this isn’t a sustainable solution. The room itself was very comfortable and we slept well. Unfortunately, the breakfast was far below what I’d expect from a hotel of this category—it was just a small omelet, two sausages, a slice of cheese, a little clotted cream and honey, plus tea and coffee. We were hoping for a buffet, so this was especially disappointing for our kids.
