“Exceptional”
The resort was very beautiful and clean, with attentive, kind, and always available staff; it had a great location, very close to Matira Beach’s public beach, perfect for enjoying spectacular sunsets; we stayed in the stilt house and it was a truly evocative and unforgettable experience; the only downside was the wind, which made the stilt house a bit noisy with the rough sea; the evenings with local shows were also very nice; highly recommended!
“Un’esperienza da fare una volta nella vita!”
It’s amazing to have an overwater room with a private pool that is the ocean and a multitude of colorful fish; cleanliness, privacy, and the ocean are all there; the staff could be a bit kinder, not all of them; and some services are excessively expensive.
“Bora bora in Palafitta”
The beach spot is perfect; on Bora Bora’s main island it’s where the lagoon is the most beautiful, with almost endless shallow water. You get free beach towels, a mask and snorkel, a canoe, and a SUP board. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and they even let you stay in the village for free before and after your stay, plus you can use the shower. The sushi night was very tasty. The salty breakfast was underwhelming—I hoped for better quality. The property is from 2015, so the rooms are starting to need a facelift, but they’re still very pretty.
“Beautiful resort”
My husband and I spent two nights at the Intercontinental for our honeymoon and had two amazing days at the resort; the bungalow exceeded our expectations, and we loved the interior, which looked a bit dark in the pictures but was actually very authentic and beautiful; the staff ensured a special time by offering complimentary champagne and other treats because we were on our honeymoon, and there was nothing negative.
“Resort bello ma con prezzi spropositati per i servizi che offre!”
The place isn’t huge but it’s cozy, and the staff are very friendly—both the ladies and the gentleman at the bar are incredibly kind and professional, and the food and drinks at the bar are great. The room was spotless but a bit dated. The water under the overwater rooms is too shallow; you have to use the ladder to dive. For the price I expected more services, and it’s absurd that a vacationer has to eat at 19:00 because the restaurant closes at 21:00.
