“Hôtel SAIEI”
We booked a room for five, including three kids, at the last minute and the staff were really responsive and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. We recommend without hesitation.

There was no positive feedback. We were told we could check in at 4 pm but were told the place was unavailable at 1 pm, and were only offered an alternative cheaper room (¥11,000 instead of the originally paid ¥29,000) with no refund. They insisted the price would be the same even if we stayed there, so no difference was refunded. They also asked for passport and My Number beforehand, raising concerns about personal data misuse (this is normally not required). The management is run by a Chinese staff member who ignores phone calls, and when we asked for written responses, they said no Japanese‑speaking staff were available. Even before booking I felt something was off, yet I went ahead. It’s just too awful. Don’t be fooled.

I booked a room, but then got a note that I’d have to swap to a lower‑quality, darker apartment. Luckily Japan has plenty of choices, so I just moved on without any trouble.
