As a Canadian traveler exploring South India, staying at Captain’s Camp in Sirsi was one of the best parts of my trip. The stay at Machan was simply amazing – comfortable, peaceful, and perfectly set in the Western Ghats. Capt. Sujay shared so much knowledge about Indian culture, local spices, and the incredible flora and fauna of the Western Ghats. His passion and storytelling made the whole experience feel special and educational. I highly recommend Captain’s Camp to anyone who wants a genuine, nature-rich stay in the region. “Unforgettable Wilderness Luxury — Five Stars”

We had an unforgettable stay at Captain’s Camp, easily the best experience of our entire trip to India. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us like family: warm, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about making our visit special. The tents are spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully decorated, and the views of the surrounding wilderness are breathtaking. Every meal was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, showcasing local flavors with care. Guided activities and excursions were well organized and informative, and our guide’s knowledge and passion made every outing memorable. Had an amazing stay at Captain's Camp, Sirsi! We booked the Executive Cottage through Bookings.com and were thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and surrounded by beautiful greenery. The hospitality was outstanding, the food was delicious, and the peaceful atmosphere made it a perfect getaway from city life. A wonderful blend of nature, comfort, and warm hosting. Highly recommended for families, couples, and nature lovers. Looking forward to visiting again!

“Amazing Machan Stay at Captain’s Camp”
