The place was clean and the owner was very friendly. I had a slight cold that day and asked for extra hot water; the owner brought me about seven bottles in a half‑bag up the stairs. The location is great, right by the pier, and the A101 supermarket is downstairs for easy shopping. The Mode community and the local market are also within walking distance, which I love.

The property wasn’t in the best condition but the location was excellent, close to all kinds of public transport, shops, and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. With a bit of maintenance the room could be better, and it had a cigarette smell.

The hotel sits in a decent spot, but the Asian side of Istanbul feels pretty grimy. Our large rooms were on the 4th floor, making it hard to haul luggage and a baby up there. The noise from the neighboring rooms was loud enough to wake our baby. Aside from that, everything else worked fine, and the receptionist—though he couldn’t speak English—was very kind.

The atmosphere feels very authentic and the interior really impressed me; the room is pleasant, the little touches and lighting are all good. The bedding is clean and the room is tidy overall, and the price‑to‑quality ratio is great. However, some things are loose, like sockets and faucets, and the sound insulation is basically nonexistent.
