The rooms were huge, spotless, and super comfy, and the staff were really friendly. The hotel’s spot in the city is great. The only downside was the European breakfast – it didn’t include cheese or cold meats, which is a let‑down when you’re in New Zealand, a country famous for its cheeses.

The staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful, and I appreciated the hair straightener that came with the room – a nice little touch. The location was perfect, with everything in walking distance from the CBD. The hotel has very limited parking, so you either pay for valet or walk a bit, and the room was a touch smaller than I had imagined.

The bed was comfy and the room offered plenty of space, plus a small kitchen with a hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. The buffet breakfast options were fresh and plentiful. Parking was charged, but free street parking was available just outside the hotel during my stay.

We loved our stay. The room was lovely and clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great, making it easy to walk to the city centre. Nothing else to note.
