The B&B sits quietly on the edge of town, yet is central enough to visit Salento’s sights, beaches, and restaurants by car. The room was neat and spacious, with a coffee machine and fridge. Every day except Sunday the room was cleaned. Breakfast was good: freshly baked cake, small typical Southern Italian sweets, croissants, a small selection of cheese and cold cuts, yogurt, fruit, and juice/water. Eggs, omelette, or fried egg were available on request. The host, Deborah, was very, very kind, friendly, and accommodating. We felt very, very comfortable. She gave us tips for activities and restaurants nearby. Even though we don’t speak Italian and she doesn’t speak English, the live‑translation made communication easy for short chats. The lovingly designed garden with pool couldn’t be fully enjoyed because of the weather, but we found a sheltered corner where we could still enjoy a glass of wine with a view of the garden in the evenings. We liked it so much that we extended our stay by two more days. Best regards, Britta and Martin.
