“Les enfants ont adoré”
Clean, friendly staff, but the food was not great.
“Moyen”
The location was good. The comfort and equipment were lacking: the bed was too hard, and the facilities would benefit from renewal to give the hotel a fresher feel.
The menus were diverse, the staff were available and responsive, and the entertainment—aquagym, music, Kids Club, etc.—was good. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable.
The food was solid and some staff were helpful and friendly, but the Mövenpick Resort Lamantin Saly’s beautiful setting and strong potential were undermined by a few disappointing problems. The faucet in my room was broken and leaking, making basic sink use inconvenient and hinting at a lack of timely upkeep. Room service was extremely slow, with long waits that hurt the overall comfort. Parts of the hotel, especially in the first pavilion, clearly show their age; walls and surfaces need repair or repainting, which detracts from the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. I like the resort’s location and amenities, but to justify its positioning and rates, more consistent maintenance and faster, more reliable service are essential. I hope management addresses these points so future guests can enjoy the full experience the brand promises.
It was too noisy with music by the pool. The hotel felt too rustic for a 5‑star rating; I didn’t see any luxury at all, but that’s just my opinion.
