“Tre giorni in solitaria”

I called reception to tell them my arrival time and that I wouldn’t be dining there. The staff girl was extremely courteous, assuring me that if I arrived after check‑in time she would send the access procedure and room key instructions via WhatsApp. I arrived on time and was greeted with a welcoming smile. The room was spacious, cozy, and fully equipped, with quiet that helped me sleep. I could park my motorcycle under cover, which was handy after a shower in the afternoon. No issues that made me dissatisfied.

Stunning building and surroundings. Right next to the basilica, definitely worth visiting. The room was fine. Dinner was an experience in the beautiful refectory—definitely worth it! No complaints.

We were treated like royalty by Sonia, who helped us with everything. When we were allowed to dine in the beautifully painted refectory on Sunday evening, despite an earlier notice, we were surprised and delighted, and we turned out to be the only guests. Actually, there was nothing negative; it was just extraordinary.
