From the moment I walked in, the fresh scent and outstanding front‑desk team made my stay fantastic—everyone was friendly and welcoming, and even though the lower‑floor rooms were booked, they still arranged one for me and my two dogs, which is rare service; the pool area was tidy with fresh towels and an outdoor shower to rinse off chlorine, and the staff gave great local tips and history on Goliad—highly recommend.

The breakfast could use improvement, and the front desk girl should smile more; she looks unhappy. The spread lacked fruit, and adding berries plus larger coffee cups would help.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel - the staff were friendly, and the rooms were well maintained, comfortable, and very clean. I was so impressed that I would give it a full 5 stars, especially since it's a family-owned hotel. The experience was truly top-notch.
