“Gute Lage aber nicht den Preis wert.”
The location was good and there was a parking spot right at the entrance. I had ordered a fruit plate and champagne for the arrival by phone, which worked well and the fruit plate was excellent. The hotel has nothing to do with romance. The room we had was in an annex that had seen better days. The bathroom had a thick layer of dust, the shelf under the mirror was hanging at half past seven, and it felt risky to put anything on it. There were several unsecured holes and the shower tiles were very dark, looking like mold to me. There is a new sink, but it was a shame that the old gray silicone sealant couldn’t be fully removed. In the room, blackout curtains existed but were useless because the balcony door only had a sheer curtain—blackout, haha. Spiders seemed to thrive, especially around the webs. It’s also very noisy; you hear people going up or down the stairs, the block door bangs constantly, and you can hear neighbors making coffee or showering. Breakfast is supposed to run until 11 am, but by just before 10 am there are almost no rolls left, and they’re not particularly good; you have to ask for almost everything because most items are nearly empty. Bottom line: good location, but definitely not worth the price.
