The view was fantastic, and the dinner and wine tasting were excellent, but the breakfast left a lot to be desired.

Imagine waking up in the heart of the Barolo region and letting your gaze drift over the vineyards to Barolo and La Morra; that’s exactly what Cascina Pugnane gives you. Whether it’s breakfast as the day begins or dinner as it winds down, that view follows you all day and makes the stay special. A real hidden gem is the in‑house Barolo “Pugnane,” which rounds off the day perfectly and offers an amazing value. For us it was a beautiful mix of location, atmosphere, wine, and genuine, honest Piedmontese lifestyle. Absolutely recommend it! The breakfast was good and sufficient, but could be a bit more generous.

The view was beautiful, we got a tour of the winery, an explanation of the area, and dinner accompanied by a variety of local wines. A small spa added to the experience after a long walk. The room was clean and the staff tried hard. Dinner (extra charge) and breakfast outside with the view were nice. The place is very far from the town center and that isn’t clear from the description; without a car it’s a real problem. The room is small and old‑fashioned (though clean and tidy).

The location was gorgeous, the staff were very friendly, and the wine tasting from the own winery on site was fun with a nice tour and good food. The air‑conditioning didn’t work well enough, so the room stayed warm.

“Más bello de lo q esperábamos”

It was more than we expected! The room was super comfy, we had exclusive access to the spa for a few hours and it was spectacular, the view of the hotel, the breakfast with the view… everything was spectacular.
