The location and the forest view from the window were nice. The kettle in the room smelled like rotten cheese, so bad it made me nauseous. When I opened it, the inside was filthy and unusable, so I couldn’t boil water for drinks, which was inconvenient.

The room was spacious and the price was cheap, but the bathroom exhaust fan didn't work properly, making me uneasy about overall ventilation.

The staff reminded me about the check‑out process; I don’t think the hotel should ask for guests’ addresses, yet the staff pushed me to provide it and I warned them that I could call the police to find out whether the hotel is allowed to collect guest addresses.

Location was excellent—by car you can reach a convenience store, restaurants and Lake Yamanakako all within ten minutes. I kept bumping my feet on the wooden makeshift bed under the futon and wished there were cushioned corner guards.
