The hotel looked nice at first glance, especially the pool, but we were very disappointed with our stay. From the moment we arrived, the reception was very cold; the front‑desk clerk just handed us the keys, offered no explanation, didn’t greet us, and didn’t even smile, making us feel like a nuisance. The room had no air‑conditioning and, worse, no Wi‑Fi. When we asked at reception, the night clerk told us that Wi‑Fi was only available in common areas, which seems hardly useful for a hotel. We also asked where we could buy water; being in Tunisia, we couldn’t just drink tap water. The clerk only said the bar closed at 23:00, offered no alternative, and didn’t point us to any nearby water source. It was problematic that there were no bottled water bottles in the room or any provision for guests after the bar closed, leaving us unable to drink anything that night. Regarding air‑conditioning, we were told it would be turned off in rooms from 30 September. We arrived on 1 October and it was very hot in the room, preventing us from sleeping well; this information should have been communicated at check‑in. Finally, the check‑out was as impersonal as the check‑in: no questions about our stay or satisfaction, just a “thank you, goodbye.” Beyond the facilities, it was the lack of hospitality, information, and consideration for guests that disappointed us. Even for a hotel, we expect at least a minimum level of service and attention.

The beach view was nice, but the staff were cold and the lunch at the shisha café was a nightmare: while you ate, they blew smoke directly at you, the café staff were not friendly at all and never smiled. Lunch was forbidden after 9:30 p.m., yet they ignored that rule, playing loud music in the clubs and causing fights with car‑squealing noise until 4–5 a.m., which was unbearable, especially since the air‑conditioning didn’t work. The housekeepers stole items: they took my sanitary towels, tampons, an aloe vera pot, deodorant, and even a disposable razor. Bed‑bugs from the mattress made my husband and me end up in the emergency room. They claim to have kitchen equipment, but when we arrived they said they had removed everything because the Algerians (my Algerian husband) had no respect and cooked at any hour. Frankly, at that price I could have had much better. In short, don’t go; it’s better to stay elsewhere.

I liked it, especially the view right by the sea, but the staff were unfriendly, the room was not clean, the bedding was dirty, and the hotel needs a major renovation—especially the bathroom.
