We adored the spot; it had everything we could want, the beach right in front, and a stunning pool. What struck us most were the staff, especially Fila and Wildridus, who helped us when we panicked and couldn’t find a way to leave Rote. Thanks for everything, and we hope to see you again soon! There was nothing negative.

From the instant we stepped in, we fell for the place. We received an upgrade to a sea‑view cottage that was truly impressive. I wasn’t feeling well during the stay, and the team went above and beyond throughout, delivering meals to our room (the food was very good – a la carte breakfast, pizza, and homemade fettuccine were highlights), offering free use of the spa, and checking in frequently to make sure I felt better and that the stay was as comfortable as possible. Set on a dreamy seascape overlooking the striking Eliana rocky outcrop, the infinity pool blends seamlessly with the ocean, making it hard to tell where one ends and the other begins. The resort feels boutique and exclusive, far beyond its price tag. The attention to detail, layout, architecture, craftsmanship, furnishings, and décor surpass anything we’ve experienced in Bali or elsewhere worldwide.

The management and staff were very helpful, courteous, and friendly. The hotel is perfect for guests who want absolute quiet – pure relaxation. The spa was especially great and highly recommended. Breakfast can even be delivered to the room if desired. Unfortunately, the beach at the hotel isn’t very accessible. The view is fantastic, but swimming isn’t really advisable. The pool is lovely. Prices at the resort are a bit high; for a cheaper option, one can get dinner outside for a small fee, but you’ll need a car or moped. The roads are quite bumpy and should be driven with caution. Also, note the boat trips to Rote: the boat only runs if the weather allows, so a time buffer is essential to avoid missing flight connections, such as from Kupang. In our case, the fast boat didn’t go to Kupang for almost a week due to bad weather.
