It was nice to sleep in a trullo, the décor was tasteful, the bathroom was pretty, and everything was clean. The colors matched, even the cutlery, and the kitchen had good pans, a decent coffee machine, and plenty of dishes. The front desk was run by a friendly cleaner who did her best. Google Translate got us most of the way! The grounds were large with a well‑kept garden full of flowers and many seats. The area was quiet with almost no car traffic. On the downside, there are three trulli, and between two of them there’s a kitchen that is also reachable from those two trulli, which means you have to coordinate with other guests about who owns what in the fridge and elsewhere—new guests took our food. Because you’re so close to your neighbors, their behavior can be both positive and negative. The entrances of two houses are right next to each other, so there’s little privacy on the terrace. When it’s too chilly in the evening to sit outside, you miss two nice chairs; we solved that by moving two terrace chairs inside. At the pool there are four lounge chairs, which turned out to be too few when all the houses were full. For us this place functioned like an Airbnb. The only contact with the owner was via WhatsApp about paying the tourist tax and how the stove works. At our request, the owner came by to optimize the Wi‑Fi; he made a lot of effort and it finally worked.

The location is great for those who don’t want to stay in the city. Everything is clean and equipped. I might leave the coffee pods since there’s a machine, but that’s a tiny detail.

The accommodation is typical. The interior décor and the outdoor layout are nice. There was a lack of physical contact with the manager, the water wasn’t potable (the water delivery person warned us), and the manager wasn’t present. A surveillance camera faced the terrace. The sofa bed mattress was medium.

Staying in a trulli was very special. Our room was beautifully decorated with a comfy bed and an awesome bathroom. The grounds were amazing, and it would be great to spend time by the pool in summer. There was a lovely outdoor seating area near our room, and it was an easy drive into Martina Franca. We didn’t know about the kitchen until we contacted Jolanda because we couldn’t find tea/coffee making facilities that were advertised. She told us there was a kitchen, which we found. There was no way to make tea/coffee in our room, which would have been preferable. It was cold and raining for our two nights there, so we had to go outside to reach the kitchen.
