“Still as good as we remembered it”
The room was set up and cleaned even though we said we didn’t need it, creating a pleasant atmosphere and peaceful surroundings; breakfast was good and the staff serving us were excellent.

Breakfast was perfectly fine and the staff at breakfast were great.

When the air conditioning was turned off it leaked all over the floor, ran down the wall over an electrical plug, and kept dripping; after asking to move, I was told to wait ten minutes for it to settle, but the new room was no better—there was a huge hole in the mattress. The following room was on the ground floor next to the reception, where a crowd chatted and laughed loudly until late at night.

The breakfast was excellent, and the receptionist who checked us in was very efficient, welcoming and friendly, but the restaurant offered a very limited menu; at 6.10 pm the pizzas were sold out and three other items on the menu were also gone, leaving us with a very narrow choice. The stairs looked as if they hadn’t been vacuumed for a couple of days, and there was no towel rail in the bathroom, so we had to throw the hand towel on the shelf behind the loo or leave it by the sink.

Access was easy and the restaurant was good, but it felt a bit old.
