Great communication with Asanka, who arranged our safari and transport from Tangalle to Ella after the stay; the safari was good, spotting elephant families in the lake, monkeys, and many bird species, and the rustic cabins were on the river; the downside was that it’s not close to town, the Wi‑Fi is intermittent, and the room was very dark.

Superb accommodation with fab self‑contained rooms by the river; loved the outdoor shower, the hammocks, and the excellent food; the owner went out of his way to help us with a booking change and cooked an amazing meal for us that night.
