The price was decent and the breakfast was solid, and they let us check in early which was a real bonus. The building looked a bit worn, but that didn’t bother me, and the bed was just okay.

I was assigned a room that already had a terrible smell, the same one my cousin had been moved from because of a stain. When I finally arrived, the staff still put me there, but then they moved me to another room that had cockroaches crawling around. They offered me a refund, but since I was from out of town I didn’t know where to go. The staff explained that they were holding two rooms for potential guests later, which upset me because I had been waiting all day and the accommodations were subpar. My cousin and I had to go back and forth with the manager to get him to let me stay in one of the upper‑level rooms he was saving. After about half an hour he finally relented and gave me that room.

The location was fine, but the room smelled like an overpowering mix of cleaning chemicals that gave me a headache, and the shower pressure was weak. It was just your average $85 dump.

The location in Pulaski was convenient. The place wasn’t very clean, the breakfast was subpar, so we ate out every day. The AC was loud and its front panel kept coming loose, and there were insects on the floor.
