“Potoval z motorjem za kar ni primeren za priti do kampa. Cesta gramozna delno pa peščena - puščavska”
The dinners and breakfasts were plentiful and tasty, but the desert itself offered nothing special; the road was the main attraction.
“Belle expérience contre balancée par des mauvaise conditions météo”
The setting and the welcome were great, but a sandstorm made the stay unpleasant, although the establishment was not to blame.
“ein wunderschönes einsames Erlebnis, leider mit einer schlaflosen Nacht”
This camp sits on the edge of the desert and is easily reachable by any car. We were the only guests, which was fine because we had heard that other areas are very crowded. It was just us, two boys, 4 baby cats and a dog. We wanted nothing more than to experience the sunset and sunrise. Everything was perfect except the night… The dog barked continuously from 23.00 to 4.30. The two boys slept and didn’t hear anything, not even our screams. We missed the sunrise because it finally got quiet then 😉
“Niezapomniane doświadczenie ❤️”
I highly recommend it! An amazing experience, sunset and stars in the sky ❤️ comfortable and cozy tents, beds, a bathroom inside the tent, hot water, food and relaxation facilities, and we definitely hope to return! :) thank you!!
“Could have been a great stay”
Theoretically, this could have been a great stay: a small camp with an authentic feel, only two other travellers present during the one night we stayed there. The tent was clean and comfy and even had a bathroom, and other facilities were clean and well kept. No drumming at night or other "touristy" offers for so few guests, but the peace and quiet suited us just fine. The one person on staff was very nice and cooked a lovely meal in a very nice setting – dinner by candlelight in the desert. First off: Some signage is necessary! Even if the turnoff from the main road is easy to find with the google map sent to us, the "road" spreads out into several directions. From a hill, two camps were visible in different directions, and we were lucky enough that someone from the other camp pointed us to the right one. Unfortunately, what could have been a lovely, quiet stay in the desert turned out to be a nightmare: We got hit by a major sandstorm throughout the night. The winds kept hitting the window flap right above our head nonstop and with a lot of noise – and we had a little sand dune on our pillow, sand in our lungs, nose, ears… No sleep at all. From what we understood, it was known to camp management that the flaps are not held in place by the velcro strips when a sandstorm hits.
