“Enjoyed the owners stories and felt welcomed and looked after.”
Secluded and peaceful. Amazing old chateau with original features. Nothing else; it was a great base for us to explore.

A unique experience in the old castle. Great breakfast provided by a friendly “castle‑owner”. The room was fine, but the wooden floors creaked terribly.

Wonderful building and owners are delightful and helpful. Fantastic room and facilities. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Great breakfast. Hosts were extremely welcoming and gave advice on where to go and where to eat. The location is quite remote; the nearest restaurants are Rochefort (25 min drive) and La Rochelle (about 45 min). Not a criticism, just information.
