“Une belle chambre, mais des problèmes de sécurité et un accueil des familles décevant”

The room with a mezzanine had a lot of charm, which was exactly why we booked it. We also appreciated that the manager offered us another room after reporting our bedding issue. We were traveling with our 21‑month‑old son and had made sure to specify before arrival that he would sleep with us. The establishment confirmed a double bed would be available. Upon arrival, we discovered that the “large double bed” advertised on Booking was actually two separate single beds, each with its own frame, mattress, and slats, with no connection between them. The problem didn’t stop there. During our first night, our son fell from the bedding and got a bump on his head. Inspecting the slats, we found one missing on each mattress. They were not broken slats, but missing ones. We reported these problems to the front desk on the first morning. In the late afternoon, the manager apologized for the accident and offered us a renovated room with a proper double bed. We appreciated the offer, but it meant moving all our belongings and giving up the mezzanine that had motivated our initial choice. We decided to keep our room. The manager then addressed the bedding, but only one of the two missing slats was replaced. The second remained missing for the next two nights until our departure. I find it especially regrettable that a property of this standing has such a defect on two separate mattresses, and that the repair remains incomplete after an incident involving a child. Another incident marred our spa experience. While our son simply expressed his joy of being in the water with two short cries, a masseur loudly addressed us throughout the relaxation area, demanding silence because he was performing a massage. I understand the need to maintain calm, but the way he spoke to us was particularly clumsy and lacking in goodwill.

The room with a mezzanine was pleasant and original, and the setting of the establishment is also enjoyable. This reservation was for the third and final night of our stay in the same room. Despite reporting on the first morning after our 21‑month‑old son fell and got a bump on his head, the bedding issue had still not been fully resolved. Of the two missing slats originally, only one had been replaced. We spent the last night with an incomplete bed frame, even though the establishment was fully aware of the situation. We also found the pool water noticeably colder than the previous days, to the point that we didn’t stay in it for long. Other guests spontaneously made the same comment loudly when leaving the water. Finally, at our departure, no new apology or special attention was offered, despite the various incidents that occurred during our stay. We had chosen this establishment to enjoy a few relaxing days with family. While some aspects of the stay were pleasant, the accumulation of these inconveniences, and especially the lack of full resolution of the bedding problem, left a very disappointing impression for a property of this category.

The reception was friendly, the place itself and the locals were all very nice. The whole hotel and the village were spotless, and the silence and calm were perfect, with a beautiful view. Nothing to complain about; everything was fine.

The tranquility, the friendly staff, and the very good food. The meal was very good but the bill was a bit expensive.
