“Aangenaam”
The place had a good location, staff, and décor, yet it wasn’t cleaned to the finest detail.

Nestled amid Ubud’s verdant forest, Awatara Boutique Resort offers a tranquil outdoor pool, on‑site restaurant serving international cuisine, and a spa. Air‑conditioned rooms feature terraces overlooking the pool, en‑suite bathrooms with bathrobes, and free Wi‑Fi. The spot offered good value and a solid location, but the breakfast selection was very limited and the bathroom lighting was weak.

The staff were pleasant and the rooms were clean, yet the food was disastrous because of spoiled ingredients, and the resort’s location was otherwise awful.

We loved the lodge!!! The room was excellent! The facilities were great!! I ate something like a banana‑coconut pancake at the divine breakfast (I don’t know the name, would love to find out). The staff were all extremely polite and friendly, even helping us with a scooter.

The staff were very friendly, especially the manager and the young guy in the restaurant, but the hotel is a bit far from Ubud’s center, though there are plenty of local supermarkets and cheap Grab or Gojek taxis.
