“Best hotel in the center of downtown”

The place sits right in the town centre and the suite is spacious with a full kitchen, fridge and stove. The bed and pillows feel great, and there’s an espresso café just across the street. The only downside is the lack of an elevator – there are many stairs, which could be tough if you’re lugging heavy or bulky luggage.

I loved how spotless everything was! The location is perfect, check‑in was hassle‑free, the staff were friendly, and there’s free parking at the back of the property.

“Wonderful location and beautiful room.”

The building is very distinctive and Victorian‑style, with plenty to discover. There were no complaints.

“Expensive and disappointing.”

The room opened earlier than I expected and the staff were friendly. Everything advertised was present, and when I mentioned the bad smell they handed me an extra fan. However, the room still had a pizza/garbage odor, thin walls, curtains that let light in, and a bathtub that was extremely slippery. My friend got keys to the wrong room, and the front desk handed his spare key to another couple who opened his door while he was inside. After a week of attempts, I still couldn’t reach the manager; they ignored my calls during business hours and left everything on voicemail.

“Excellent location, large room, clean, long flight of stairs to the room and expensive.”

The location is good, but there are two flights of stairs to the room, which is a bit hard for me at 84 years old. Paying $300 per night feels quite steep.
