We stayed on the pass, the place was clean and nicely located, but the beds were very low, making it hard for my husband to get up; the price of 170 € including Petit dechuene felt excessive for such a simple hotel.
Pascal, the co‑owner, was fantastic—well‑versed in the region, offering a curated selection of local wines by the glass or bottle, and recommending wineries and dinners; he even arranged transport for us while we traveled by train and bus without a car. He was the best host. Our room was spacious, with a balcony overlooking the vineyards, clean and neat, and the hotel itself seemed freshly renovated. Breakfast had a great spread of fresh breads, pastries, cheeses, cold meats, cereals, fruits, juices, and coffee—perfect for starting the day. A must‑stay in the area. No improvements needed; everything was great.
“Parfaitement parfait pour une halte sympa.”
The location, large parking, pet‑friendly reception, spacious room with working air‑conditioning, decent breakfast, fair price, and friendly staff were all good, but there was no shower.
“Très belle étape sur la route du Sud.”
The reception, the surroundings, and the owners’ friendliness were outstanding.
The hotel’s location, the welcome, and the early room availability were all positive.
