Nothing good at all. The hostel was a disaster in every possible way of management. I’ve traveled to many places abroad and will keep doing so, and as a native Israeli I’ve never seen such dysfunctional and rude behavior. They failed to give me a place, claiming they were overbooked, even though they had approved my stay a week earlier! No staff member wanted to explain or address this shameful mistake. I had to call the London call‑center for an urgent fix because I was left without accommodation for the four nights I expected. To top it off, the owner wouldn’t take responsibility or compensate, delivering a very rude and distasteful reply—see the attached WhatsApp screenshot (in Hebrew). I strongly advise against doing business with this person.

Great location for a very reasonable price.

The spot is convenient for catching buses or heading to the nearby train station, and I was glad to find a supermarket just a stone’s throw away, with an underground bomb shelter right under the mall next to the shop. The downside is that it’s a bit tough to move large luggage up and down the stairs if your room is on the second floor or higher.

A surprisingly compassionate spot amid Israel’s diverse tensions, offering friendship and a sense of peace; the message from Our Lady of Medjugorje about prayer, fasting, and suspending nature’s laws to halt wars resonated with me.
