The location was great in a very pretty part of town and a short walk to the lake; the place was super clean, well maintained, and bright. Private parking was available, and the hostess was very helpful and nice. I also liked that the small kitchen area had basic supplies like oil, tea, and coffee so I didn’t have to buy them. Nothing to complain about—it was lovely!

We had contact before arrival, so we were already welcomed when we got there. Brigitte is an extremely pleasant host with many useful tips for cheap excursions and how to carry them out. The accommodation is close to the S-Bahn station, ideal for going to Lucerne, and the bathing lake is just around the corner. Everything you need is there. The quiet surroundings provide the best conditions for a good rest. The breakfast that Brigitte prepares is simply great; everything is available and the coffee tastes good. We felt incredibly comfortable and will gladly come back anytime. There are no complaints at all.

The apartment was spacious, everything was present, and we shared a rooftop terrace with the other apartment. We received many good tips from the owner. The lake is within walking distance, so you can swim nicely. We also took a lovely walk around the castle, a 15‑minute walk from the apartment. Lucerne is definitely worth visiting, and the Stanserhorn mountain was also impressive, with an open cable car.

The hospitality was experienced, the breakfast excellent, and the genuine attention to guests made my stay very enjoyable. The minibar was a pleasant surprise, and the many small complimentary touches beyond the minibar showed real care and generosity. I felt very welcome throughout my stay. The only downside was the summer heat, which of course is beyond anyone’s control. However, after more than 20 years of hosting guests, a portable air conditioner could be a worthwhile investment and would make hot summer nights even more comfortable.
