The place was quiet and not overlooked, staff great, breakfast very good. However, having g to go in the lift.
“Gr8 hotel, Gr8 location shame its so noisy”
The hotel sits right in the heart of the old town, with the tapas alley opposite and Levante beach just a short stroll away. From what I could see, the Queens Hotel has steps in and out, and during busy times it can be very difficult to get in because people move tables and chairs into the walkway; the staff try their best to keep it clear, but when customers see people trying to get in with suitcases or bags they’re very reluctant to move! I discovered this as a disabled person and had to struggle through them to get in. The room was very clean and quite large for me, on floor 5 with a sea view. Breakfast was okay and far better than at Hotel Santa Faz. There’s a rooftop bar and seating area on floor 8, which gets very, very busy. The hotel is very noisy because it’s an older building with thin walls; most nights people bang their doors shut and shout loudly in the corridors. The rooftop bar is used by customers (not all hotel guests) who hog the lift, so using the lift became a chore—walking down five floors was painful, and going up was a non‑starter. I only discovered on my last day that there is a disabled toilet on the first floor; I was never told about it, I just happened to see it. I asked one of the cleaners for some bath gel and she promptly gave me three of each, but when another cleaner cleaned my room she took them all out. I had to go out and buy my own liquid soap.
“Lovely small hotel in the best location”
The hotel’s location is excellent, the staff are very nice and helpful, the rooftop bar is beautiful, breakfast is great, the beds are really comfy and the room is air‑conditioned. The only complaints are that the bathroom feels a little dated and the lift is slow. I would have preferred a room with a balcony, but we still had magnificent views. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
I was thrilled by everything—everything was amazing!
“Very enjoyable”
Good breakfast, very friendly & helpful staff. Problem with room first night but moved us next morning, then happy. Bigger bathroom
