The area has a Metro supermarket, a roadside market, and an excellent restaurant called The Hideout Cafe, but the first‑floor lobby feels cramped and the front desk staff are not friendly.

The room was beautiful and very quiet, and although the mattress surprised me when I sat on it, I slept like a baby; we stayed for four nights but the tiny kitchen lacked a fridge, forcing us to buy drinks one by one at the gas station across the street, and two days before arrival someone (booking???) changed our reservation from Thursday to Friday without warning; the establishment was unreachable, so I had to go on site to sort it out with Tess, who fixed it quickly—thanks again Tess!

The room smelled like sewer, which was disappointing; proper cleaning and a room check before handing it over to guests would help.

The location was perfect, within walking distance of Sacred Heart – Ateneo de Cebu and the big grocery store, Metro Gaisano, and a Shell convenience store right in front, plus a good cafe and burger place across the street; it didn’t have a fridge but that’s still fine.

The place is clean and quiet, and it’s very close to a supermarket and public market; they don’t give indoor slippers and there’s no microwave oven to reheat food (I’m not sure if one is at the front desk), and there’s no cold drinking water.
