“One night was enough.”
The place is centrally located, and the front desk staff member Nick was willing to refund my unused night after I spent one night on the property. The room I received faced Hwy 5 directly, so it was very loud and hard to sleep at night. It also had a strange, stale, old, musty smell, like an old library; the A/C seemed to worsen the odor. I ended up staying only one night (out of two) because it was too noisy and smelled odd. I’ve stayed at many Motel 6s before (solid value and pet friendly) and haven’t had issues like this, so perhaps it was just the room I was assigned.
