The historic accommodation was beautiful and located on a nice exit point after visiting charming towns and sights. Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning in the bedroom, which was undesirable given the warm days and nights.

The place was super stylish and a perfect little hideaway; by the time we left, the owners felt like family. It was charming at every turn. Because of the heat, we would have preferred air conditioning, though fans were provided.

The setting was gorgeous and idyllic. We probably didn’t explore as much as we might have, because we were content just staying in the garden by the pool. The gardens were beautiful, the villa lovely, and the private pool area was great and an absolute sun trap, with plenty of shade and seating areas too. Nothing we didn’t like!
