“Polite and kind Owners and Worth what you pay for.”
The staff and owners are kind and polite, always ready to help and even offering fruit, coconut water, and local tips or bike rentals. The facilities match the price; it isn’t a luxury place but it meets basic expectations and is ideal for solo travelers. It’s a guest house, not a hotel, and a family lives in the back. The balcony is large and the internet is good enough for remote work. The facilities feel a bit dated, and the kitchen could look better if unused utensils and appliances were cleaned more often; guests are expected to clean used items themselves, which they did. The property used to be luxurious and even had a souvenir shop, but now only a few rooms are maintained. It’s a huge complex, with a bungalow, and much of it is unused, so maintenance is lacking. It sits right next to a road, so expect vehicle noise. The bathroom sliding door and standing fan could use a small repair.
