“Dirtiest dive I've ever been in”

The place was clean, but it turned out to be the worst dump I've ever seen. They claimed we had no reservation, yet we paid €34 for two nights, which was outrageous. The sheets were dirty, the door lock was broken, and there was no sink. The bathroom was non‑existent; only a filthy toilet with a shower head hanging over it. Men were outside the room, which couldn’t be locked. The owner wouldn’t answer any questions. It’s disgraceful that they offer such rubbish. I left right away and had to find other accommodation in the middle of the night. I’ll report this stinking, filthy hotel to the Ministry of Tourism and publish it in the tourism press. This place should be shut down immediately!

“You get what you pay for, okay for short stay”

The staff were lovely and accommodating, even preparing meals for the needy, which was very kind. The location is great and the value for money is fabulous. You get what you pay for: the toilet was broken, the shower tap was cold, cleaning could improve, the hotel needs renovation, and the room door didn’t lock well.

“i left 10 minutes after arriving”

The staff were lovely and kind, but for the price it wasn’t worth it. The shower didn’t work, the beds were uncomfortable, there was a lot of wall‑through noise, and there were no safety locks on doors or lockers.

The owner was helpful and welcoming, yet the bathroom was a disaster: the light couldn’t be turned off and the shower didn’t work. The AC was noisy. An employee stood at the front door listening to loud music until very late, and a cleaner entered the room at 6 am while I was sleeping. The room was very expensive for what it was – I guess Sinulog prices?
